A few days ago I posted an article about Wall-Painted Animations by Blu. One of this animations was made in my hometown Berlin. We have a huge culture of Graffiti- and Streetartists here and that is just awesome. For demonstration I have picked some examples from Flickr. In future I want to post more about Graffiti and Streetart from Berlin. Because it is a great Inspiration to me.

My first Poster Proof

Yesterday I got my first poster proof and I have to say it looks awesome. It is a great feeling to get a poster design as a real thing in hands. I chose my Warschauer Straße Poster for print because I thought it is a good test for the colors. The folks from a local studio in Berlin/Köpenick called Phine Photo have made an excellent job big thanks to them. In future I will definitely print my posters for the there.

The Art of Félix LaFlamme

A while ago I have bought a book called Kustom Graphics. It is filled with great illustrations from very talented artists. One I especially noticed is Félix LaFlamme from Drummondville, Quebec. Experimenting with acrylics

Last week I started to experimenting with acrylics on canvas. I played around a little and created some abstract piece which I call: In my head. It was such a fun and really relaxing to paint. If you have the time and you search for something away from the computer, I recommend painting!

The Art of Rockin’ Jelly Bean

When I was 14 years old I had a T-Shirt from Mambo on which a blue genie-woman was. It was absolutely my favorite shirt because the illustrated Genie looks awesome. Unfortunately it is too small and shabby to wear. Anyhow, the shirt was designed by Rockin’ Jelly Bean. His wicked illustrations of half naked women inspired me a lot. So I want to show you some of his work.

The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Poster

The Legend of Zelda continues with “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword”. Nintendo has released some beautiful artwork of Link in fight position. As a big fan, I wanted to make something of this material. So I’ve created a poster with the images.

I’ve also made a Wii boxart. Thanks to StardogChampion who made the Wii boxart template.

I´m a huge fan of surrealistic art and there are many great artists at the present time. One of my favorites is Naoto Hattori. His art inspires me a lot.
